I’m almost done with the modifications I’m making to my Baja 5B SS. One of my modifications was to replace the stock suspension arms with a set from RPM. The guys at RPM don’t just make parts to make them. They reengineer them to increase strength and performance. The Baja arms will fit the 5B and 5T and RPM has tweaked the design of these arms slightly from stock. They are molded out of RPM’s very durable blend of nylon which makes them hold up to a lot of abuse, they have extra material in some areas to prevent them from breaking, and some of the dimensions have been tweaked to increase the performance of the 5B and 5T. These suspension arms are available in black and white. I opted for the white set and dyed them orange to match the anodized parts on my buggy. The dye process is a very easy one. Normally you put them in a pot with water and dye and boil them until you get the shade of color that you want. I didn’t have a pot that was big enough for my parts so I placed them in a large glass bowel and threw them into the microwave. Looks like them came out pretty good to me.
i would like to no what color of dye you used
hey Kevin how did you dye and what did you put them in to get the color
