This is the real Porsche 959 that competed in the grueling Paris/Dakar off-road race in 1985. I actually bought the RC version of this car from Tamiya. It was awesome and I so regret getting rid of it.

Being mostly and on-road racer, this is my first Cactus Classic and I'm really looking forward to watching some of the worlds best off-road drivers battle it out on the track. I love hitting the trails in my Suzuki Samurai. Thanks to Jake Hallenbeck of CKRC, I purchased a Samurai a year ago and have been bombing around the trails near my house. So far, I haven't gotten stuck, but I have come close.
